When I want to download the Software for mac Mavericks, I just get this help how to install it under mavericks. But how the WLAN chan be changed on the printer is not mentioned anywhere.

Can you help me?

CP1525nw Reset SSID

I have the HP Laserjet CP1525nw printer for about a year now and using it wirelessly with no problems. I recently changed my router's wifi credentials and needed to change it for this printer too. However, I can't find a way to change it. I followed the Support page:

- WPS feature on router does not connect for some reason

- I used HP Diagnostic Tool, detects printer but doesn't help me reset the wifi

- Used install CD as well as downloaded installation file but gives me "HP Installer has stopped working" error while it's starting up. I tried running it as Admin as well as in compatibility mode. I use WIndows 8.0 and I do have .net framework 4.5 installed.

- I tried connecting to printer's own wifi and login into its IP as outlined here. I found a wifi titled HPCP1525, went into IP address and reselected to my own router's wifi and clicked next. It loaded, refreshed the page. But still not connected. The IP address of the printer seems to have changed as I could no longer connect to the admin area and the printer's wifi is no longer broadcasted.

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

I can't share HP Deskjet 3920 with Win 7 64 bit cause can't install advanced printer drivers for x64 on Win XP, error message like: "need some drivers from Windows XP CD-ROM" - and can't find it there (need for sRGB.ICM file).

If I manually point this file, the install process loops endlessly.

Problem Printing to HP Deskjet 2544

Hi,

Just got a HP Deskjet 2544 AIO printer and installed the software on my partners laptop (win 8.1). All installed OK and can wirelessly print out a test sheet fine using the tools that get installed.

If we try to print anything else, it will not print to the printer, you see it spooling and then the print job deletes itself from the queue and nothing comes out the printer

Tried it again on another laptop running Win 8, excatly the same, can print test pages but nothing else.

Tried it on my CAD Desktop and this time it works fine, can print text files, photos and word documents.

Still can't get anything from both laptops though.

Need help urgently

Thanks

Okay since I am not getting any replies I will reword the problem. Surely there is a tech who knows the answer.

I have a HP CP3525 printer that had a network issue. I have replaced the formatter board thus far and tryed different patch cables and other network outlets. What I am getting is nothing from the heart shape led but a constant 1-2 looks like from the other led. When I plug in the cable I get no reponse from the leads.

Not sure where to continue with the troubleshooting unless I replace the card that the formatter plugs into. Any help would be appreciated.

Losing connection to HP7520 on wireless network

I probably would be OK if I only had one pc but I have 3 - Win8, Win7, and Vista. Tech support had to install printer after downloading software from HP. Apparently disc is worthless.

It was installed using an IP address which I think was a mistake. IP addresses change and this may be the issue here.

When I am on the WIn8 or Win7 pc the printer goes offline or is not connected.

Question: should I share the 7520 on al pcs or none at all?

Question: If I disable my security software firewall, should the printer be found and installed on wireless network OK?

Part of my problem and confusion about this issue is how the printer is defined when viewing Printers on each pc. There are HP 7520 Series, HP 7520 Series(networking), HP 7520 Series(Fax) - to name a few - depends on the pc OS.

Some definitions have the IP address shown when viewing the printer properties, and other definitions show the serial number. I have installed a lot of HP printers on a wireless net and never had these issues.

Any ideas on why I keep losing connectivity to printer?

PRINTER DOESN'T STAY CONNECTED

Alright, I'm going to give this one last shot and see if any experts can help.  I have a DESKJET 3070A all in one.

Long story short.  I setup my wireless printer successfully, it prints, scans and everything.  Then I don't touch it for like 2 minutes, my devices says it can't find the printer anymore.  The wireless light on the printer still remains solid blue.  Network configuration print out says it is still connected, with IP address of 192.168.0.XXX.

Then I have to unplug the printer, plug it back in and it will print again.  Then it stops printing again after 5 minutes idle time.

I tried EVERYTHING including static IPs.

If anyone can tell me how to fix this, I will kudos you like 1 million times.

OfficeJet Pro 8100 blocked by Windows Firewall

Windows 8.1 systems on our network are suddenly unable to properly print to or communicate with our HP OfficeJet Pro 8100.  We connect via Host Name as we are not always able to make a static IP available for this purpose.  Windows 7, Windows XP, and Apple OSX machines are able to communicate with the device in question fine.  Only Windows 8.1 devices are having trouble.

After some tinkering, I've determined that the issues are related to Windows Firewall, which is kept on as a safety measure on all of our supported devices.  This was determined by temporarily turning off the firewall on a test machine.  For operating devices on our network, disabling Windows Firewall is unacceptable.

HP processes on our system according to Windows Firewall include:

HP Device Setup

HP Network Communicator

HP Network Communicator COM

HP Printer Control

HPSAPS (HPDiagnosticCoreUI.exe)

Are there additional processes that we should look for?  Setting these to allow does not appear to restore functional communication to the printer, which reads as Offline.  The Printer Network Configuration printout indicates that the printer is having no difficulty connecting to the network and again, most non-8.1 devices connect without difficulty.

HP Envy 4500 wireless printer can't see my new dual band router

I previously owned a cisco EA4500 router and my Envy 4500 wirelss printer worked just fine. However, when i upgraded to the Cisco EA6500 my printer cannot see my new router. It sees all the other routers but mine. Its a dual band router with both frequencies working fine and my other devices have no connection problems. I tried connecting via the WPS method and that did not work. I also tried searching via the ssid and the printer still couldnt see my router. Please advise if there is something else i can try to make this work. Thanks!

D110 will not accept wireless code

This printer worked just fine until one day it got accidentally unplugged, and it will no longer accept the wireless passcode. The blue light is blinking, and it says "printer not found" when we try to print anything.

The diagnostics Summary reads:

Wireless on: PASS

Wireless Working: PASS

Network Name (SSID) Found: PASS

Security: FAIL

I have not changed anything beside the accidental unplug. Usually, if it doesn't accept things, I just turn everything off/unplug and restart the router (airport) and the computer (iMac), and it works just fine when I these things. Now it will not work.

I have a HP 990CXI on a Win 2000 machine and I am trying to network connect to this printer from a win 7 machine but it cannot find a driver.  The HP site says that Win 7 should have an in-OS driver.  It seems that one is pointing the finger to the other!?

Router compatibility with HP Printers

I have an Office Jet Pro 8600 plus that I currently can connect with over my wireless network. I have an old Belkin router which is feeling its age and I am planning on purchasing a new and hopefully stronger router. In trying to make a decision I had narrowed my choices down to the ASUS RT-N66U Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router. However I noted several comments in regards to the inability of this router to connect with my particular HP printer.

Just what is the best router to use with HP printers?

Deskjet 3050a J611 series and Windows 8.1

I have tried and tried to get my printer set up to this computer. Don't know what I am doing wrong.  The computers says everything is fine but when I go to print something it tells me my printer has a problem that needs intervetion?  I just don't understand. I go to devices and printers and run the troubleshooter and nothing. I have downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Shows my printer and says software is installed.

New day more trouble, I finally got the printer to work and then the power went off today and guess what, I now can't use the printer again. Tells me its offline?  The blue wireless is on the printer, so I don't know what is going on. I am so totally frustrated with this printer, I have had nothing but trouble with it ever since I purchased it. My sister has the same printer and she doesn't have any trouble with it. I am computer smart where she isn't. Can someone please help me get this printer working with my computer, I really need to print some stuff off.

Thank you.

hptoolbox will not respond

The other day hptoolbox  failed on start up.  Wasn't worried.  Now it starts, but I have no way to access.  If I start via start menu, another process starts, but no windows open.  Can't find any logs, so have no idea how to investigate.

Does this process really do anything that accessing my printer via it's URL doesn't?  If not, maybe I should give it the burial that this buggy software richly deserves.

Windows 7, HP laptop, printer cp1525nw.

Deskjet 3050 wireless connection trauma

Hi, my Deskjet 3050 has stopped working over the wireless network and I'm stumped. It was working fine, but has now stopped. My laptop is connected to the home router (BT) and the printer is also connected to the same router (according to the router config page), but I can't connect to print. I've gone back to the beginning and re-installed the printer and all drivers and software, I can print with a USB, I can transfer wireless config details via USB, but I still can't print wirelessly. Help?
