I have tried many time to do this but no luck. On the printer i go to tools button select bluetooth and the display passkey, visibilty, and security level are greyed out. I can't scroll through that screen. the control panel bluetooth light is on but none of my computers see the printer. Any help would be great.

i have a deskjet 3070a. it was working fine and without touching anything , the wireless light doesn't strop blinking even though it says that the connexion is fine - i even have an IP address- but when i want to print with my i pad it says "no air printer found" and on the printer, in the wireless menu it says Not Connected !!!
if i print through usb connexion with computer, it is ok.
Please help me or i think i will throw this effing thing through the window

HP8500 OFFICE JET PREMIUM
TODAY, ATT UPGRADED MY PHONE SYSTEM THROUGH THE INTRANET, (ELIMINATED DSL). THEY INSTALLED A NEW ALL IN ONE MODEM, REPLACING THE DSL MODEM AND THE NETGEAR ROUTER. NOW, WHEN I CONNECT THE PRINTER TO THIS, IT CREATES A SHORT FOR MY PHONE SYSTEM. THEIR TECH TOLD ME NOT ALL PRINTERS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THEIR NEW MODEM.. CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME THROUGH THIS MESS?

installing wireless printer on laptop
Had a bear of a time getting the Officejet 6700 installed on my laptop. It installed easily on my desktop over the wireless network (no USB cable etc.) but I could not get it to work on my laptop. Used the HP chat tech support. No help. Called the TS help line and that was worse. They kept pointing me to a "channel power" problem on my WAP router. I said no that it had to be a configuration issue or something like that with my laptop. Needless to say I ended up calling my head of IT at work. He simply said "turn off your Cisco VPN" It stops access to the local LAN etc. I turned of the VPN and everything installed perfectly. Bottom line is if you are using a VPN shut it off before installing. Second issue (not HP) is getting the system to print with the VPN on. I enabled the local LAN access under the advanced setup of the Cisco VPN but it still does not work. Any help here would be appreciated. GolanK

hp officejet 8500A 910g - no longer connects wirelessly to mac 10.5.8
I've had my hp officejet 8500A 910g connected wirelessly for a long time now and a few days ago it stopped printing...I tried to print and all it said was 1% complete. so i tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer wirelessly and it seems to be connect to the network, I entered in my passkey and it said "Device not reachable. the network configuration was successfully downloaded to the device. However, to continue configuring your device in network, your Mac must have access to the device. So please make sure that your mac has access to the network"
Im confused because i can connect wirelessly to the internet. and when i print a test page it works..

HP Officejet 6700 Premium shows offline everytime we turn off our laptops...
Help!! I now have a second new HP printer that's behaving just like the other new HP printer that I bought 3 months ago, that is now packed up to go back to Office Depot - a Photosmart 6520. I replaced it with an Officejet 6600/6700.
They both do the same thing, when they go to sleep/standby/idle, they go offline. Only way to reconnect is to turn the printer off and on, then you have 15 minutes (longest setting) before it goes offline again.
This is a JOKE! I've had the HP C6350 for four years prior to this, and NEVER had this problem. HP has screwed something up big time. When everyone else is going plug an play, HP is doing the opposite. Please help, this is killing me, my marriage and my kids...seriously. It's not funny.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus Not Recognized On The Network
I have a CenturyLink DSL Modem/Router that has 4 ports on the back. I use Port 1 on the DSL Modem/Router to conntect to my NetGear Router. I use Port 2 on the DSL Modem/Router to connect my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer. I use Port 3 on the DSL Modem/Router to connect my Brother MFC-7360N printer. I am not using Port 4 of the DSL Modem/Router.
My NetGear Router is used to connect all wired desktop PC's (5) in the house.
I was able to successfully install the software for the Brother printer on all computers and can print on the Brother printer from any of the desktop pc's.
I have the software for the HP printer installed on all computers but on the WIN XP desktop pc I cannot detect the printer on the network. During the setup process the software detects that the HP printer and the WIN XP pc are connected to two different routers (the DSL Modem/Router is being detected as a router by the WIN XP pc). On the other desktop pc's which are running either WIN7 or WIN8 there is no detection problems even though the printer is connected to the DSL Modem/Router while the PC is conntected to the NetGear Router.
Does anyone have any knowledge as to why I am having this problem. The problem seems to be only with the WIN XP pc and not with the WIN7 or WIN8 pc's.

1102w won't always wake up to print.
11102w installed as a network printer won't always wake up to print. On ocassion it will take 10 minutes to hours before the printer prints. Two other HP printers on my network (HP 4100 & HP 8600) work fine.
The 1102w is the only one that has a wireless connection. It is assigned a static IP by my router (Netgear WNDR3700 V4).
Any clues?

HP Envy 120 not connecting to imac
Hi
I have just started having a problem - my iMac says it cannot connect to my printer and printing is not possible.
Printing has worked fine before, and it continues to work fine from my ipad and iphone.
I am on Mavericks 10.9.2 and Safari version is 7.0.2.
My I connect wirelessy - my netowrk is fine, the network test on the printer is fine and the fact that I can print from ipad & iphone indicates an issue with the Mac - any ideas what I should check, please?

Printer/Router Issues
I have a Linksys EA6500 router, Dell desktop and a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer and is set up for wireless printing. Up until about two weeks ago I had been able to print wirelessly from my laptop, desktop, iPhone and iPad.
Just about two weeks ago my printer quit printing wirelessly. In that time I have spent almost two hours on two different occassions with an HP specialist on their Chat line. Both times my connection was terminated for no apparent reason.
After the last Chat session was terminated, I entered the printers wireless setup menu and hand typed the name of one band of my router, ButlerNet 2.4 GHz, typed the password and the printer began working and did so for two or three days. Today, Saturday, when I tried to print, it would not. I checked the router menu and ran a download test. Everything looked OK. Even said my printer was "online". I checked my printer wireless status (the little tower had solid blue arcs radiating out from it) and it had ButlerNet 2.4 GHz shown as being connected. In other words, the router recognizes the printer and the printer recognizes the network, but it will not print wirelessly.
Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Updated Wireless Router, now printer not connected
Two days ago, I had internet modem problems which, when resolved, caused D-Link wireless router problems. D-Link tech support had me download and install a software update. Now my HP Photosmart D110a doesn't connect to my laptop via the D-Link and the printer is past warranty. Any suggestions to get connected again?

HP Photosmart D110a not connecting after router software update
I will try rewording my first message:
Two days ago, I had problems with my internet provider's modem. That problem was resolved, but led to a second problem of still not connecting to the internet. So with the help of D-Link tech support, a software update was downloaded to my wireless router and installed and now I can connect with the internet.
But today, as I was going to use my 2 1/2 year old HP Photosmart D110a printer/scanner, it is not connected via the above wireless router. (The blue light on the printer just blinks). Tech support says I'm out of warranty, so I'm hoping that someone can help me here on this message board.

HP C4780 Unable to see WIFI
I have had the printer for a little over a year now and has always worked fine. All of a sudden, it does not connect to the WiFi in the home. Any suggestions? I have ran the test from the touchscreen and it does not see a wifi available. I have 2 different wifi connections, one is for the kids and the other is for my pc and gaming consoles. Any assistance would be thankful.

HP Envy 120 goes offline for no known reason, WiFi connection appears good
HP Envy 120 installed on WiFi network with Linksys EA-6500 router / WPA-PSK, working fine for several months.
Now, I can print a few pages, but then the I get a "printer offline" message even though it is still connected.
I verified IP address (fixed) and verified that I have the latest drivers via HP Update on the PC and automatic updates directly on the printer.
When this problem happens, I have found that by turning WiFi off, then on again, printing resumes for a while.
I have verified that the auto-off setting is OFF.
Athe configuration tests come up clean. Signal strength is 5 and I have no reason to suspect that is an issue. I am not sure this is relevant, but the "disconnect count" shows 5 in the past 24 hours, with 612 total.
Sofware environment is Windows 8.1 Pro on a Dell XPS-8500, but no reason to suspect this setup as the previous Envy 112 worked flawlessly before it was moved elsewhere.

Why won't my laptop find my wireless printer?
My laptop has been able to recognize my wireless printer for over a year now, but it suddenly has begun to not print anything that my laptop requests. The printer is under the choices of devices to choose to print, but when selected, it does nothing. It will even pop up on the bottom of the screen with a printing in process message, but it just won't work. My printer is also not located under the devices selection on my laptop. I know it's not the printer because I can select to print a page on my iPad and it will work flawlessly. So the printer is online and working fine with all my other devices, but my laptop. I use the laptop for school and my mother uses it to print off stuff for our everyday life. She uses the laptop more than me lately, so she could have accidently clicked something she shouldn't have but I doubt it. I also dont have any disk to reinstall any software for the printer and I would like to aviod paying for a new printer or anything for that matter. Money is tight nowadays. SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give any advice you could to help me out here.

Officejet 7110 series wide format does not accept static IP address settings on wired IP4 network
Install printer successfully on wired network and printer is assigned dynamic IP. Then attempt to change the dynamic to static IP using EWS in windows internet explorer v11 and windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit.
On network tab I chouse manual> click suggest IP settings feilds are populated and I enter manual public DNS ip address. Everytime I click apply but all I get is "invalid Input"
So frustrating a 5sec job ends up being 5day job.........
Is this a browser compatibility issue? Anybody know?
My router I had for years its older netgear DG834G and the IP address that is suggested is valid
OK nevermind......Answered my own question.....Thanks HP......Just set your default browser to anything but IE. You know really how hard can it be to inform users who purchase these printers NOT to use internet explorer vXX as your default browser to SETUP your HP printer......This should be explicit 90% of home users will have IE as their default browser.....Yes I know you get a compatibility dialog appear about your browser but it should not install to an incompatiible brower PERIOD.......force the user to use another......

Unstable ip address
I've had a B110 printer for 3 yrs and have had regular problems with it going off line, but usually easy to bring back on line again but a few months ago I changed to BT Infinity wireless router and I'm hardly ever able to print anything at all now. I've had an IT company assist me several times and they tell me that the IP address is continually changing, despite them trying various methods to fix the address, although it has usually printed when they've tested it and gone off again shortly afterwards! It is also now impossible to print from my iPad, with message that 'No Airprinters found'. I am now thinking that the only way to print is to connect the printer to the router via cable, can anyone advise which cable I would need?

Spooler SubSystem App process in Windows consumes a large amount of memory

I have HP B110a (all in one combo)
System is Windows 8.1
Drivers - newest from HP web site.
There is no problem in instalation and connection both via USB and wireless.
But i have noticed problem with wireless connection - Spooler SubSystem App process (spoolsv.exe) consumes a large amount of RAM memory, there is even 1,5GB! I note that catalog C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS is empty - it happens when printer is idle, not printing or scanning.
Problem not occur during USB connection.
Any advice? I think that problem lies in printer's driver.
I will be thankful for your help, because I can not use full functionality of the device.
